Booking and Confirmation

All Spit Roast BBQ bookings are considered provisional and valid for 7 days a deposit will secure our services for your chosen date. The deposit amount will usually be 250 euro or 25% of the full amount payable which ever is greater. This is a non returnable deposit and will be forfeited in the event of cancellation by the client or absolutelybbq. The client agrees to pay the full invoice amount no later than 14 days prior to the event. The client understands that failure to pay by this time may result in cancellation of the catering for the event

 

Quotes

All quotations are valid for 7 days. Prices can and may be subject to change.

 

Final Payment

Final invoice payment must be made 14 days prior to the event date, if you wish to pay on the day this can be made by prior arrangment in cash only on our arrival "cheques will not be accepted as payment on the day cash only on our arrival"

 

Ingredients Changes

Some ingredient may be subject to change due to availability. In the event that we are not able to supply a whole hog for your event we will use large cuts of pork of the appropriate weight normally hams

Food Allergies

We cannot guarantee that any food used has not been exposed to nuts or nut products.

 

Safe Access to Catering Area

The client is responsible for providing a 3mx6m flat accessible area for us to cook with a well lit clear path to and from the catering or marquee areas. The catering or marquee areas must be fit for the purposes of catering, and staff. if extra lighting is required the client authorizes the company to erect supplementary lighting and charge in accordance with their normal hire charges for those items.

 

Inclement Weather

It is necessary for the client to provide shelter. Either you can arrange for shelter to be on site or we can make arrangements for you. If you wish to hire in a shelter local to your event please make sure the shelter has all 4 sides with a zip or lace up entrance. Gazebos do not have sides and cause problems for staff and cooking times when raining and windy. Severe bad weather such as wind, rain, and sub zero temperatures at your venue will increase cooking times at any event that has not supplied adequate shelter.

 

Traveling

Please note catering prices quoted are to travel within our area in the dordogne. Other areas may be catered but may including mileage and toles depending on the size of the event.

 

General Liability

We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the service contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, electricity and water failures, or fire alarm evacuation.

 

Level of service

AbsolutelyBBQ staff are not responsible for setting up and laying of tables, manning bars, collecting rubbish or cleaning your venue

 

Crockery Upgrade supplied subject to the following terms and conditions

A Cash 200 Euro deposit is required on delivery to cover any loss or damage to equipment

All items will remain the property of AbsolutelyBBQ.

The hirer will be charged for the replacement cost of missing or damaged items.
Once delivered, the liability for all hired items becomes that of the hirer until time of collection
Equipment left at premises unattended by hirer are left at the hirer’s risk.
The hirer is responsible for checking goods on delivery and must notify AbsolutelyBBQ of any shortfalls or damages immediately.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to have insurance cover for the equipment, if required.
No responsibility will be accepted for death or injury resulting from the use of hired equipment.

1x Coffee cup (if required)

Other items are available on request at standard hire rates

 

Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection is free hired items must be ready packed in boxes supplied ready for collection 3 hours after service a next day collection is available but will incur a charge depending on location

 

Washing up
Washing up service is provide free of charge.
Please ensure all large items of debris have been removed before returning i.e.. scrape and rinsed all plates Etc before packing into box supplied failure to do so will incur a charge


Cancellation & booking changes
Cancellations within 14 days of delivery of service will incur a charge of 50% of the total cost.
Please inform us of any changes to your order within 7 days for BBQ's and no less than 14 days for hog roasts
